This Billfold was selected for the Tony Peña signature glove. Known for his exceptional defensive skills and unique, low crouching catching stance, Peña played in the MLB from 1980 to 1997, spending much of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, and Cleveland Indians. He was a five-time All-Star and earned four Gold Glove Awards for his defensive prowess. After his playing career, Peña became a respected coach and manager, including a stint managing the Kansas City Royals. He also served as a coach for the New York Yankees and helped lead the Dominican Republic national team to victory in the 2013 World Baseball Classic.
