STEP 1
SOURCE VINTAGE BASEBALL GLOVES FROM ACROSS AMERICA
FC Goods works with everyone from large-scale collectors to everyday baseball fans to source vintage baseball gloves. Each bears the coloring, marks, and even unique baseball glove smell that only develop from being aged by competition.
STEP 2
HAND CUT EACH GLOVE ONE AT A TIME
Once we have acquired the vintage gloves, our leatherworkers examine each glove, identify sections that display unique baseball glove character, then hand cut those swatches one at a time to use for your wallet.
STEP 3
PREPARE PREMIUM FULL-GRAIN U.S. STEERHIDE
The back and middle panels on each Classics Billfold are made from full-grain U.S. steerhide– the same durable, premium quality leather used to make modern baseball gloves. Full-grain steerhide is not just functional either: like all of the highest quality leather products, it ages with a patina that perfectly complements the vintage glove leather.

MACHINE SEW EACH WALLET INDIVIDUALLY
With all the leather prepared, our artisan leatherworker team goes to work individually sewing every Classics Billfold. The result is a leather accessory exhibiting the craftsmanship and quality that can only be achieved by working one wallet at a time.

How FC Goods Came To Be
In 2012 in Long Beach, CA, Jon Brong started what he thought would be just a fun new hobby. Inspired by his admiration grit and hustle that defined baseball’s Golden Era, he accumulated a few vintage gloves and promptly took a knife to them.
Why cut up old gloves? Because Jon’s passions also extended to craft leatherworking and premium functional accessories. He loved style and he loved quality. So he began to create his own utterly unique vintage glove wallets right there in his garage.
But a funny thing happened as he started to give them out to a few friends: the requests poured in from more and more people around him, and that hobby became a small business.
Since then, FC Goods has grown to bring vintage baseball nostalgia, contemporary style, and artisan leatherworking to thousands of customers who share our passions. With gloves acquired from across the U.S. and wallets handcrafted in the Dominican Republic– one of baseball’s worldwide capitals– we’re as committed today as Jon was back then to those same values.
